Electro-Hydraulic Lift Dock Leveller

Mobile Dock Ramps

The Dock Leveller bridges height differences between loading bays and truck beds, allowing forklifts and pallet trucks to move goods safely. Its reinforced platform and hydraulic operation provide a Commercial Grade Dock Leveller solution for warehouses, factories, logistics hubs, and distribution centers.
Products Description

Busy loading docks require equipment that can adapt to trucks with different bed heights. The Dock Leveller uses hydraulic lifting and an adjustable lip to create a stable transition between the warehouse platform and the vehicle. Its anti-slip steel deck supports frequent forklift traffic during loading and unloading. Platform dimensions, capacity, lip length, control system, and surface treatment can be adjusted by an OEM/ODM Manufacturer. This hydraulic dock leveller is suitable for cold storage facilities, manufacturing plants, freight terminals, and large warehouse projects.

Electro-Hydraulic Lift Dock Leveller Features

1. Ground-to-Container Loading Route

A mobile Dock Leveller creates a sloped forklift route from the yard floor into the truck or container. This is different from a fixed pit dock system because the ramp can be placed where the vehicle stops. For export loading, outdoor freight yards and temporary dispatch zones, it helps forklifts move pallets directly into the vehicle instead of stopping at the door and rehandling goods by hand.

2. 6T to 10T Capacity for Forklift Loading

The DCQY6-0.4, DCQY8-0.4 and DCQY10-0.4 models support 6000kg, 8000kg and 10000kg capacity levels. This load selection should consider the forklift weight, operator, pallet and cargo together, not only the weight of the goods. The 6T model is suitable for lighter warehouse routes, while the 8T and 10T models are more suitable for heavier pallets and busier loading sites.

3. Long Ramp Body for Smoother Forklift Climb

The 6000mm main section on 6T and 8T models, and the 7000mm main section on the 10T model, help reduce the climbing angle for forklift entry. The 3000mm transition section gives drivers a longer approach before reaching the main ramp, which is important when forklifts carry pallets into containers repeatedly during one loading shift.

4. Anti-Slip Deck for Tire Grip

The ramp deck uses non-slip patterned steel plate to improve anti-skid performance during loading. Forklift tires need reliable contact when climbing, braking and reversing on the inclined surface, especially in yards where dust, rainwater or packaging debris may appear.

5. Mobile Setup with Safety Chains and Braking Support

A movable Dock Leveller needs to stay aligned with the truck during loading. Safety chains, side guardrails and wheel brakes help keep the ramp positioned while forklifts pass through the bridge route. These details are especially important when the ramp is used outdoors or moved between different loading positions.

Application

1. Export Container Stuffing

Dock Leveller is useful for export warehouses that load pallets directly into shipping containers. Forklifts can enter the container body, place goods deeper inside and reduce manual handling at the container entrance.

2. Rented Warehouse Loading

Temporary or rented warehouses often do not have fixed loading bays. A mobile ramp gives these sites a practical loading solution without cutting dock pits or rebuilding the floor.

3. Factory Finished Goods Dispatch

Manufacturers can use a mobile Dock Leveller at dispatch yards where trucks arrive at ground level. Finished products, cartons, components and palletized goods can move from storage to truck more efficiently.

4. Seasonal Distribution Overflow

During peak seasons, one fixed dock may not be enough. A movable ramp can open an extra loading point in the yard, helping warehouses handle temporary traffic without permanent construction.

5. Freight Yard Pallet Transfer

Freight yards that handle mixed trucks and containers can use the ramp for batch forklift movement. It helps standardize the loading route when vehicles stop in different outdoor positions.

Electro-Hydraulic Lift Dock Leveller Creating a Loading Bay Without Building One

Many warehouses only need a loading bridge, not a full dock construction project. A mobile Dock Leveller can turn a flat yard into a working loading point when a truck or container arrives. After loading, the ramp can be moved away or repositioned for another vehicle.

This layout is useful for companies that rent warehouses, expand storage temporarily, or load containers in outdoor yards. Instead of investing in civil construction first, the ramp gives the facility a flexible starting point for forklift loading.

Forklift Approach and Straight-Line Entry

Forklift entry should be as straight as possible. When the ramp is placed at an angle to the container door, the driver has to correct direction while climbing, which increases stress on the ramp, tires and pallet load.

Before use, the vehicle should be aligned with the ramp, and the forklift should have enough straight approach distance. This is especially important when loading long pallets, stacked cartons, fragile goods or dense industrial materials. A good approach route makes the Dock Leveller easier to use than a ramp that is simply placed wherever space is available.

Dock Leveller Site Matching Support

For a Dock Leveller quotation, prepare your forklift weight, maximum pallet weight, container or truck floor height, yard surface condition, expected loading frequency and ramp movement requirements. Site photos, vehicle height measurements or a simple loading-yard sketch will help confirm whether a 6T, 8T or 10T mobile ramp is more suitable for your warehouse, factory dispatch area, freight yard or export loading operation.
